Dog River Crossing

It’s a nightmare. He knows that this day would come. He just couldn’t believe that the day would actually be today, when the number just turned 5 since he starts breathing the warm air of the world. At the very least, he could stay with his favourite human for 5 years. So, what more could he ask for?

As he crosses the river of death, he cast a sidelong glance at his favourite human. He shared his love, joys and sorrow with that person.

In the morning, they will take a walk or jog along the park together. In the evening, they will sit on the couch together, covered by a warm blanket to watch a movie. Although he doesn’t really understand what they are watching at considering that he’s a dog with no intelligence like human. However, as long as his human is happy, he’s happy as well. At the end of the day, they will lay on the bed together and cuddle each other to sleep.

And now, they are still cuddling together. The only difference is that now his body was already lifeless and cold, while his owner is sobbing his heart off.
